How Score is Kept:
Points are awarded to the winner for any Game of Great Magnitude.
Game of Great Magnitude is defined as such:
- A board game played on an organized Game Night.
- The board game must have an objective winner.
- The board game must consist of at least 3 players.
- All players must acknowledge they understand the rules.
Point Values
- The value of any game shall be: 2 times the number of hours the game took to complete.
- If the winner is a team, the points shall be evenly divided among the members and added to their personal score.
- Points will always be rounded down, to a minimum of 1.
- If a game's point value is less than the number of players on any one team, that game is ineligible to award points.
**Note: The scoreboard will include any person who has attended game night for that split and has obtained at least 1 point.
Splits
The year will be divided into 2 splits:
- January 1 through June 30
- July 1 through December 31
The person who has accrued the most points in each split shall:
- Claim the Title: Don of Games, and shall be referred to as "The Don" until the winner of the next split is decided.
- Wear the steel crown for the following split.
